While it true we have a great number of articles and reviews, ChipTalk is first and foremost a discussion forum.  This means when people come to ChipTalk, they tend to stay for a while!  At ChipTalk.net 25% of the people visit almost every day. They have direct interest in content by searching real discussions and actually taking part in creating new content.  This makes advertising at ChipTalk.net more valuable for brand building. Statistics:

We average 1.3 million page views per month.  We have over 8,000 targeted members.  We have over 500,000 unique message posts among 35,000+ web pages.  Your banners and forum links will appear on every single one of those pages! There are 80-120 real people logged into the site at any given time.

Sponsors can log into their user interface and see how their banners are performing. As well as a simple overview, you can look at monthly, weekly, daily, and hourly statistics. All advertising stats are real-time. Sponsors can also export reports in CSV format for use in Microsoft Excel.

Advertising Options:

There are currently two options for advertising at ChipTalk.net. Banners (two types) and Rented Forums.  You can choose any combination of these choices or even all of them.

Banners:

Big Banner: You can buy banner rotation for the big 468x60 banners (Flash or image banners).  These rotate at the top of every ChipTalk.net page, and are also interspersed throughout all the threaded discussions.  These are high profile and are seen by every member several times each visit.

Big Banner Special Features:

• Supply any number of banners you like, and “weight” them in the rotation. The more the better (so banners don't go "stale").
• Space out your clicks/impressions for any period of time that you choose. We can deliver up to 100,000 impressions in one day.
• Limit your banner(s) to display any number of times per page load.
• Limit banner to display "x-number-of-times" per unique visitor per day.
• Limit banner displays for day(s) of the week.
• Flash banners are welcome.
• Please keep banner byte sizes under 50k.

Purchase Big Banners:
$2 per thousand impressions (displays). You buy impressions in blocks of 25,000 ($50 each).

25¢ per click-thru. Clicks come in blocks of 500 minimum ($125). 

Side Banner: We offer a static side banner (125x125).  There are seven slots, and your banner would display on every page load of ChipTalk.net. 

Our side banners are $95 per month.

 

Foot Banner: We also offer a static foot banner (125x125).  There are seven slots, and your banner would display on every page load of ChipTalk.net. 

Our foot banners are currently $45 per month.

 

Rented Forums:

The rented forum is a new concept we came up with.  It’s by far our most popular option. It's been very successful for many vendors. You can sell/promote/link to anything you choose, as long as it's poker related. Visit the ChipTalk Market Place to see how other vendors utilize their forums. 

Note: You really must take active participation to get the full benefit of a rented forum.  You should actively post and promote products, sales, mass buys etc.  You can even run a store and take sales directly from the rented forum if you have the html coding resources to do so.

Rented forums are currently $150 per month.

Rented Forum Special Features:

• You are a moderator of your forum
• You can create threads, but others cannot.
• You can “soft delete” threads when you don’t want them viewable by the public.
• You can sell anything at all that’s poker related.
• HTML has been enabled for your forum.  You are free to use custom code, promote items, and even set up a shopping cart if you know how.
• The "Top Spot" of right-side 125x125 banners is reserved for you! You are put in rotation with other renters at no extra cost.
• You are given a signature as a sponsor.  Use this signature to post in the public areas and link to your promotions in the rented forum.
• “Bump Thread.”  This allows you to bring any of your threads back to the top of the daily search results without actually replying to your own thread.
• You will be given a new member name color (green) and Title.  This is to give you the respect on the site as a ChipTalk Sponsor.
