Black Sands Resort & Casino

This is a very informal poll, but it might bring Matsui back in the running as they are currently the first that had to leave the race.

Keep in mind the Matsui chip I am talking about here is the same one Ten reviewed and that a handful of us are lucky enough to have (me, RDeckard as well) and think is the bee's knees.

- The Blue Chip has the most options: custom mold, get colors wanted, inlay options (sizes)
- The ASM has the blank mold option, may not get the exact colors discussed in the prior thread.
- The Matsui gets a very good rare chip. As for chip colors, I am unsure right now.

If we can get those elusive Matsui clays hotstamped for a decent price, I'm all in.

Re: Black Sands Resort & Casino

Can we get a custom stamp without denominaitons, or if we use denominations, not use $ signs?

My friends are terrible players and I have no use for $500 chips or even $25 chips. It's almost always $10 games for fun.

Hotstamped Matsuis would be sweet! I don't think the colors will be as cool with ASM and who knows what BC would turn out like...

Don't worry about the details some of you are asking about right now. This is just for broad conceptual appeal.

While I personally think hotstamped Matsuis would be awesome, I personally don't think they are right for this chip.

I believe the original thread is this one:

http://www.chiptalk.net/forum/group-buy-discussion/8022-tr-king-black-sands-non-edgespot-clays-formerly-matsui.html

It is a long one though. But it never got to the point of many pictures and formal design, other than the inlay.

I voted blue chip, but would be just as happy to see these as matsui chips

Re: Black Sands Resort & Casino

BC is my selection in the poll. how long is the wait - will it be like getting the samurais together? With Matsui, what would the wait and the numbers be like?

Also, it seems to me that the inlay is done. For that matter, the color scheme has been developed - pastel variance on the standard colors seems to be a consensus. I'm not looking to steer, so much as say... "why does there seem to be questions about what they will look like?" inasmuch as it seems the details have been repeatedly hashed out. Or, are there divided schools of thought which are preventing this buy from getting off the ground?
