Chips: 1,589 | | | Kings Crown Hot Stamp Mock Ups- Post em Here! I think that it is a good idea to have a separate thread to post what we are planning on getting. This is especially useful for anyone that is planning on ordering any spotted chips. Here is a link to Kalimba's Chip Forge: http://www.kalimba.com/chipforge/index.php This seems to currently be the preferred way of making mock ups for those of us that are, shall we say "graphically challenged." The Chip Forge is especially nice as it has our inlay right in there! Of course there is always the Chip Factory right here on our site. This is also a great tool and can be found here: http://www.chiptalk.net/index.php?Ch...p_forum=TRKING Please post only once! That way this thread will not get bloated. If you change your mind on something, just come back and edit your original mock up. It is perfecly fine to have more than 1 set in your post. If you are somewhat undecided and you like 2 or 3 different sets, post em.
Hopefully this will help us all get what we want! Remember, if you want spotted chips, you will need at least 200 of what ever style/die combo you would like. This only applies to the spotted chips.
Here is something I like:
I will probably change my mind a hundred times between now and when we place the order but it is what I like today. I will probably be getting something like this:
200 x 25¢
200 x $1
100 x $5
75 x $25
25 x $100
For me this will be a cash set. I kind of like doing the first couple of denoms in plain for a couple of reasons. 1) It is very realistic looking. There are plenty of casinos that have done this in the past. 2) It keeps the cost down as you are only buying a limited number of spotted chips. Maybe I will even go with all plain ones. I have to see some of these colors with the hot stamp on them, especially for the 25¢

Chips: 5,848 | | | Re: Kings Crown Hot Stamp - Post em Here Probably going to get
200 x $5 (red, pink, fire, orange)
250 x $25 (lt green, dk green, signal green)
200 x $100 (grey, black)
50 x $500 (lavender, gold)
I would like a spotted $500 so I wouldn't mind joining in with some one to split an order to meet the minimum of 200. I'm pretty flexible on the colors and spots for this chip.

Thinking:
150 x 25¢
250 x $1
150 x $5
75 x $25
25 x $100
Don't really need $500s, but I would go in for 25 or so if I could find someone with a $500 chip that I like.

Chips: 1,260 | | | Re: Kings Crown Hot Stamp - Post em Here These are the chip/spot/color combos I'd like to get, of course I wouldn't need 200 of every chip style, if anyone is looking to get similar color combinations (not necessarily the same edge spots, just the color combos), we can team up ...
Don't anyone get confused, the stamp can go on any chip ... we can team up on the chip color/spot color combinations.

Chips: 100 | | | Re: Kings Crown Hot Stamp - Post em Here My $5, $25, $100 are standard colors, no spots. Not sure what to do about my $500 chip yet. I don't like the lavender so I'm trying to work something out with the purple. This is what I have so far.
I'm going to break them down like this, tentatively. If I go for chips for a T1000 tournament, I would do this.
$5=200
$25=220
$100=150
$500=30 (possibly up to 50)
I'm also thinking about a set for a T2500 tournament. For that, probably these chips. Boring, I know.
$25=120
$100=200
$500=40

I like this set - I have to say the $500 chip is pretty much the best looking chip I've seen, love the mold, the colours and elegance - an excellent excellent chip.
Like you I went down the T1000/T1500 route with a $5, $25, $100 and $500 set - just something to consider is not getting the $5 chips and having T2000 upto T5000 tourneys with $25, $100, $500 and $1,000. The things to consider are that you won't need as many chips as reds dissappear pretty fast in a tourney and also so that you can separate cash and tourney sets (unless you are a high roller!)
I do like the chips alot and look forward to seeing them |
