TR King - Suicide King Club **QUARTERED + Hotstamp **CLOSED

This group buy is for both custom edge spotted inlay chips and hot stamps. The Chips will be done by TR King with the following inlay:

The hotstamp will be similar to the the image above.

The inlay chips will go from $1 - $5000, the hotstamp will most likely have multiple dies starting at .25 cents.

Pricing:
.95 cents for inlay chips, min 200 per color, .60 cents + die charges for hotstamps.

Quartered:

Quartered chips will $2 per chip, minimum 100 per color.

Edge Spots:
The edge spots below will be the standard spots for each chip $1 - $5000.

Chip colors:
There will be many chip and spot colors available. There will be a 200 chip min. for each color, 100 chip min for quartered. In other words, if you're ordering 200 of a single chip, you can choose your own colors as long as meets the spot combination above.

Please see the mockup thread for the colors people are currently considering. If someone is already getting 200 of that color, you could get as few or as many as you want. You can also use their colors and a different denom.

EXCLUSIVE:
The current plan is to cap the ordering at 10K chips. Once there is enough for 5K inlay chips, the ordering will begin. Ordering will end when we hit 10K chips.

Current Status:
Closed on 4/12

Final numbers:

Ordering Instructions

In order to order, you must email me with the following info, please copy and paste this into your email (DO NOT PM ME):

Name:
Chiptalk username:
Number of inlay chips:
Color and Denom Breakdown:
Amount being donated to Roolife ($15 min):

The $15 min donation to Roolife will be paid via Paypal
(jesse at motioncitysoundtrack dot com) directly to Roolife. I was going to have people pay when then order their chips, Dennis said this would be too much of a headache.

Once all of this has been completed, your order will be approved and emailed to TR King. You will then call him and pay for your order. If you are one of the 4 going in on the hostamp die, you will pay an additional $25.

Re: TR King - Suicide King Club

I like the concept. I'd say run with it and see where you can take it. BTW, just yesterday I got a new set of Modiano cards and I noticed that the company uses a suicide King in some (all?) of their products: Modiano Website.

Re: TR King - Suicide King Club

Once again I'm bewildered by the pricing scheme. Must've caught Dennis on a good day. If I'dve been able to get these prices I could've ordered 2K chips myself months ago. As it is I going to stick with the ASM option, though I really do like the TRKs.

Lynnbark has a really nice design based on suits. It was a label offered. Maybe he'd be willing to do some design work or even get in on this.

Yeah, I really like that logo!

Get to work on some TR King mocks for the Chip Forge! I will definitely make a donation if they're anywhere close to the quality of the ASM mocks.

Thanks, I'll definitely contact him!

Regarding the pricing, Dennis mentioned that if you stick to the somewhat simple patterns, it isn't as expensive. One of the most costly chips is the 5 star. If were to add one of those, it would effect the cost significantly.

Re: TR King - Suicide King Club

Oh god... here we go again! Long time no type to, guys.

I love TRKing chips. A suicide king inlay would be hawt.

Any plans for lower denomination chips? I'd like a cash game set with $1/$5/$25. I figure if any of my deadbeat poker buddies want to buy in for hondos they can just use bills Although some might, I would have no use for a chip <$1... I will buy plain chips with no inlay or edgespots for those, assuming they sell them)

Can TRKing do a "Pie" chip? We should make a $1 chip blue/white pie... I've always wanted to own quartered chips and it would definitely stifle any $1 color arguments

Re: TR King - Suicide King Club

Hey Smoore,
If you wanted lower denoms, essentially you could choose the colors. I am only planning a tourney set with $25 - $1000, but if you want cash colors, quantity talks.

Regarding the pie chip, he wont do those no matter how much I beg.

What color combos would you want? Post some mocks! We can get this rolling!

Re: TR King - Suicide King Club

Blue $1!

I called it! No changies! j/k... as always, a group concensus is best.

Seriously though, I'd want thier pale blue w/ 4x2 edgespots in royal blue and white for a $1. This is going to be my most common chip so I want cool edgespots.

$5 can get a little "boring" as far as I'm concerned so as not to overshadow the higher value chips for people that want $T sets starting at $5. I'd like to see a maroon w/two large tan edgespots.

I love that $25.

This would make the lower chips into thier own cohesive set with varied edgespots and subdued colors. The "boring color" $25 chip marks the start of a big tournament set and leads to the busier and more varied high denomination chips.

If this gets cool I will sell every chip I own. I would like to have 700 chips for this set, along with 300 plain quarters.

Does anyone have that TRKing photoshop file? Does it open in gimp? I don't own fotoshawp and won't pirate it... if the file is available here at the site, don't bother to reply anyone, I'm going to look when I hit post.

Edit: bright red might jazz that green chip up some, moons are the shiznat, I like them.
